WorldTeach is a non-profit, non-governmental organization and is funded by donations and sponsors. Its volunteers sustain themselves in the same manner. I have raised enough money to start my work here in Costa Rica. I thank all of my generous sponsor who contrubuted to my fundraising campaign. Any additional money I raise at this point will help buy school supplies. In the future I hope to invest any additional funds in some sort of special project within the Boruca community.
